Specimen Processor I

Role: Specimen Processor I supporting laboratory specimen handling and data entry at Labcorp in Anniston, AL. Responsibilities: prepare, unpack, identify, label, store, and ship specimens; ensure specimen accuracy; meet departmental productivity goals; resolve problematic specimens; perform data entry of patient information. Requirements: High School diploma or GED; preferred 1+ year experience in lab, accessioning, or related fields; comfort handling biological specimens; strong organization, attention to detail, data entry skills; able to lift up to 40lbs; pass color blindness test.
