Specimen Processor I

Role: Specimen Processor I responsible for accessioning, sorting, labeling, shipping, and data entry of clinical specimens in a high-throughput laboratory setting. Objectives: ensure specimen integrity and accuracy of patient data to support diagnostic testing. Responsibilities: prepare specimens, route and label samples, manage excess samples, and resolve specimen issues, adhering to SOPs. Requirements: High School diploma or GED; 1+ year experience in lab, accessioning, production, or warehouse environment; strong organizational, data entry, and biological specimen handling skills; proficiency in MS Office; ability to lift up to 40 lbs; pass a color blindness test.
