Specimen Processor I

Role: Specimen Processor I responsible for preparing and managing laboratory specimens in a high-throughput clinical testing environment. Responsibilities: unpacking, labeling, routing, and shipping specimens; data entry of patient info; handling excess samples; resolving specimen issues; meeting production goals. Requirements: High School diploma or GED; preferred 1+ year experience in lab, accessioning, or related fields; comfortable with biological specimens; strong organizational, data entry, and attention-to-detail skills; ability to lift up to 40 lbs.; pass colorblindness test.
