Specimen Processor

Role: Specimen Processor I supporting laboratory specimen handling within a high-throughput diagnostic environment. Responsibilities: prepare, unpack, label, and route specimens; ensure accurate data entry; package and ship samples; resolve issues with problematic specimens; meet departmental productivity goals; handle specimens safely and store excess samples appropriately. Requirements: High School diploma or GED; comfort with biological specimens; strong organizational and data entry skills; ability to lift up to 40 lbs; passes color blindness test. Preferred: 1+ year experience in lab, accessioning, production, or warehouse setting. HighValue: clinical specimen accessioning, data entry, biological specimen handling, high-volume lab operations. WorkSetup: onsite in McKees Rocks, PA; Monday–Friday 4:00 pm–12:30 am with rotating Saturdays; some physical handling involved.
