Specimen Processor

Role: Specimen Processing and Accessioning Technician responsible for preparing and managing laboratory specimens. Objectives include accurate specimen identification, routing, packing, shipping, data entry, and resolving any specimen issues. Responsibilities encompass ensuring specimen integrity, meeting departmental productivity goals, and maintaining sample storage. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; 6+ months lab or specimen processing experience preferred; comfortable handling biological specimens; strong organizational, data entry, and attention to detail skills; ability to lift up to 40 lbs; passing a color blindness test. Work setup: onsite in Wichita, KS, Monday-Friday 4pm-12:30am; physical handling of specimens and team environment.
