Specimen Processor

Role: Specimen Processor responsible for specimen accessioning, preparation, and data entry in a high-throughput clinical laboratory setting. Objectives include ensuring accurate specimen identification, proper routing, packaging, and timely processing to meet laboratory productivity goals. Responsibilities encompass handling biological specimens, data input, problem resolution, and compliance with standard procedures. Requirements: High School diploma or GED; preferred 1+ year experience in laboratory, accessioning, or related environments; comfort with biological specimens, strong organizational and data entry skills, attention to detail, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and pass a color blindness test. Work Setup: Monday–Friday 5:00 pm–1:30 am with rotating Saturdays; Indianapolis, Indiana; physical role with routine specimen handling.
