Specimen Processor

Role: Specimen Processor I in a high-throughput clinical laboratory setting, responsible for preparing, unpacking, labeling, and shipping specimens, as well as data entry and problem resolution. Objectives: ensure specimen integrity and data accuracy to support diagnostic testing. Responsibilities: handle biological specimens, meet production targets, and maintain proper storage and documentation; participate in specimen accessioning and sorting. Qualifications: High School diploma or GED; preferred 1+ years experience in lab, production, or warehouse environments; proficiency in data entry and organization; ability to lift 40 lbs, pass color blindness test, and handle biological samples. Work Setup: on-site in Baltimore, MD with shift hours (evenings, rotating Saturday, on-call Sundays); physical demands include lifting and handling biological samples.
