Specimen Management Specialist

Role: Specimen Management specialist in a clinical laboratory setting, responsible for specimen processing, identification, labeling, and shipping, along with client and patient communication. Responsibilities: act as liaison, resolve customer inquiries via multiple channels, review test forms for accuracy, prepare and store specimens, and ensure proper documentation and sample handling. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; preferred candidates have lab experience, an Associate's degree, or 6 months of clinical lab work; strong communication, organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office. WorkSetup: based in Portland, OR, Tuesday-Saturday, 3:00 am–11:30 am, with rotating Sunday coverage; physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs; must pass color blindness test.
