Specimen Accessioner

Role: Specimen Processing and Accessioning technician at Labcorp, responsible for preparing and handling laboratory specimens to ensure accurate testing. Responsibilities: unpacking, routing, identifying, labeling, and shipping specimens; data entry; resolving specimen issues; storing excess samples to meet departmental goals. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; preferred experience in lab or healthcare environments, specimen processing, or manufacturing; comfortable handling biological samples; strong attention to detail, organizational, and data entry skills; proficient in MS Office; able to lift 40 lbs and pass a color blindness test. High-Value: laboratory specimen handling, clinical or healthcare experience preferred, shift work night hours, teamwork environment. WorkSetup: onsite in Calabasas, CA; schedule Friday-Tuesday, 10:00 pm - 6:30 am; additional hours may be required.
