Role Summary
Harmony Biosciences is recruiting for a Specialty Territory Manager in our West Harrisburg, PA territory. You will meet and exceed sales goals in your geography and champion scientific and clinical information of Harmony Biosciences products to healthcare professionals, establishing yourself as a clinical expert and trusted information source. You will demonstrate professionalism, competence, and compliant behavior while achieving objectives.
Responsibilities
- Focus on driving growth to meet or exceed sales forecasts for Harmony products while ensuring compliant selling activities.
- Develop territory business plans and execute sales and marketing strategies aligned with Harmony objectives.
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts and key opinion leaders.
- Manage a territory call plan with varying customer reach and frequency; use data and analytics to optimize the plan to meet objectives.
- Meet or exceed product and brand strategy training targets, certifications, and knowledge of disease and patient management strategies.
- Operate as a team player, cooperating with partners and colleagues to reach common goals.
- Share best practices and participate in Regional and National meetings.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to support business objectives.
- Operate the company vehicle in compliance with policies and traffic laws.
- Process expenses in a timely and compliant manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelorโs Degree in business or related field required
- 5+ years of experience within pharmaceutical or biotechnology sales required; Rare Disease, Sleep Medicine or CNS experience strongly preferred
- Consistently meets or exceeds sales targets
- Experience selling a product requiring coordination with patient services and hub services
- Ability to interpret market research, data, and sales analytics to develop a territory business plan
- Ability to develop strategic long-term relationships with customers to help patients and achieve business results
- Must live within the territory boundaries
Additional Requirements
- This position will require up to 50% travel, including local and national meetings and training sessions.
- Valid US Driverโs License with safe driving record required.
- Noise level is usually quiet; close vision; manual dexterity to use computers, tablets, and cell phones.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 20 pounds; continuous sitting for prolonged periods.
