Specialty / Senior Specialty Representative Cardiovascular - Manhattan S, NY

What You Will Do:
- Provide clinical knowledge of products to medical professionals and help them navigate the complex payer environment.
- Act as primary customer contact; implement marketing strategy and promote Amgen products as led by the District Manager.

Responsibilities:
- Provide current, comprehensive product knowledge and communicate clinical benefits to drive appropriate utilization.
- Achieve territory sales by delivering branded sales messages, conducting planned programs, scheduling/following up on medical educational programs, and meeting or exceeding targets via in-person and virtual engagement.
- Develop relationships to service/manage accounts: tailor discussions to customer needs, ensure product access, resolve/triage reimbursement issues, and maintain product contracts.
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy; analyze sales effectiveness and territory analysis; develop territory plans with the District Manager.
- Partner with colleagues to share best practices and grow.
- Demonstrate passion for products throughout the sales cycle while building the brand and focusing on serving patients.

What We Expect Of You:

Basic Qualifications — Specialty Representative:
- Bachelor’s degree OR Associate’s degree + 4 years sales OR High school diploma/GED + 6 years sales.

Basic Qualifications — Senior Specialty Representative:
- Bachelor’s degree + 3 years sales and/or healthcare/scientific clinical experience (non-sales) OR Associate’s + 6 years sales and/or clinical experience OR High school diploma/GED + 8 years sales and/or clinical experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years sales in pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device; product or hospital sales in relevant specialties (e.g., oncology, inflammation, cardiology, etc.).
- Local market knowledge; established territory relationships.
- Bachelor’s in Life Sciences or Business Administration.
- Adaptability with planning/organizing, leveraging technical knowledge, impactful communication, driving results, and cultivating relationships.
