As an AbbVie Sales Representative, you will engage healthcare professionals, drive product awareness, and achieve sales goals within your assigned territory. Success requires rapid mastery of Buy & Bill processes, a strong understanding of AbbVie's portfolio, and a commitment to delivering outstanding results while maintaining the highest ethical standards.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with healthcare professionals to promote AbbVieโ€™s products within Prostate Cancer/Urology and OB/GYN therapeutic areas.
  • Execute brand strategy and field tactics, delivering on sales and marketing objectives.
  • Create pre-call plans using SMART objectives and conduct post-call evaluations for ongoing improvement.
  • Effectively handle objections and drive calls to logical, actionable outcomes.
  • Develop and execute a targeted call plan to optimize coverage of key customers, maximizing sales opportunities.
  • Proactively build strong customer relationships, understand customer needs, and deliver solutions for win-win outcomes.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of therapeutic areas, product science, market trends, competitor landscape, and Buy & Bill processes.
  • Coordinate activities with internal and external partners to maximize impact and align execution with brand strategy.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture focused on collaboration, learning, and integrity.
  • Share market intelligence and insights with in-field teams and brand stakeholders for strategic alignment.
  • Participate in team meetings and actively share insights to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Embody AbbVie's Ways of Working and comply with all business conduct policies and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in biological sciences, pharmacy, business, or related field (or equivalent industry experience).
  • Proven track record of sales success and strong presentation skills.
  • Demonstrates in-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills; proficient with business tools.
  • Ability to quickly assess customer behavior and flex approach as needed; skilled at operating in a matrix environment.
  • Preferred: Experience 2+ years pharmaceutical sales, account management, managed healthcare, or marketing in relevant therapeutic areas Urology and/or OB Gyn; English proficiency as needed.
  • Must meet all Health Care Industry Representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements for access to assigned facilities and organizations (including background checks, drug screens, vaccinations, licenses, etc.).
