Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary customer contact; implement marketing strategy and promote Amgen products as led by the District Manager.
- Provide comprehensive product knowledge and communicate clinical benefits to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
- Lead territory sales by delivering branded sales messages; conduct planned programs; schedule and follow up on medical educational programs; achieve/exceed sales targets via in-person and virtual engagement.
- Develop relationships to service and manage accounts: customize discussions based on customer needs; ensure product access; resolve/triage reimbursement issues; maintain product contracts.
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy; analyze effectiveness of sales activities and territory performance; develop territory plans with the District Manager.
- Partner with colleagues to share best practices and continuously learn/grow.
- Sustain passion for products throughout the sales cycle, building the brand with patient impact at the forefront.

Basic Qualifications—Specialty Representative:
- Bachelor’s degree OR associate’s degree + 4 years sales OR high school/GED + 6 years sales.

Basic Qualifications—Senior Specialty Representative:
- Bachelor’s degree + 3 years sales and/or clinical experience (non-sales) OR associate’s + 6 years sales and/or clinical experience (non-sales) OR high school/GED + 8 years sales and/or clinical experience (non-sales).

Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device sales; product/hospital sales in relevant therapeutic areas; local market knowledge; established territory relationships; bachelor’s in Life Sciences or Business Administration; adaptability to core competencies.
