Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative – Cardiovascular

Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive knowledge of Amgen products and communicate clinical benefits to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
- Achieve territory sales by delivering branded messages, conducting planned programs, scheduling/following up on medical education, and meeting/exceeding sales targets via in-person and virtual engagement.
- Manage accounts by customizing discussions to customer needs, ensuring product access, resolving/triaging reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts.
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy; analyze sales activity and territory performance; develop territory plans with the District Manager.
- Share best practices and continuously learn/grow as a Senior Specialty Representative.
- Sustain passion for products throughout the sales cycle, building the brand with patient impact forefront.
- Uphold values: science-based, ethical conduct, quality, teamwork/collaboration, effective communication, accountability.

Basic Qualifications – Specialty Representative:
- Bachelor’s degree OR Associate’s degree + 4 years of sales experience OR High school diploma/GED + 6 years of sales experience.

Basic Qualifications – Senior Specialty Representative:
- Bachelor’s degree + 3 years of sales/clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field (not sales-related) OR Associate degree + 6 years OR High school diploma/GED + 8 years.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years sales in pharma/biotech/medical device; product/hospital sales experience in oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, inflammation, cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, or infectious diseases.
- Local market knowledge; established territory relationships; Life Sciences/Business Administration degree.
- Core competency adaptability (planning/organizing, leveraging knowledge, impact communication, results driving, cultivating relationships).
