Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative - Cardiovascular
What You Will Do
- Serve as primary customer contact; implement marketing strategy and promote Amgen products (as led by District Manager).
- Provide comprehensive product knowledge and communicate clinical benefits to drive appropriate utilization.
- Lead branded sales efforts: deliver sales messages, conduct planned programs, schedule/follow up on medical educational programs, and meet/exceed territory sales targets (in-person and virtual).
- Develop/manage accounts: customize interactions to customer needs, ensure product access, resolve/triage reimbursement issues, and maintain product contracts.
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy; analyze sales/territory performance; develop territory plans with District Manager.
- Share best practices; continuously learn/grow as a Senior Specialty Representative.
- Sustain product passion throughout the sales cycle to build the brand with patient impact at the forefront.
- Uphold Amgen values (science-based, ethical, quality, teamwork, accountability).
Basic Qualifications – Specialty Representative
- Bachelor’s degree OR Associate’s degree + 4 years sales OR High school diploma/GED + 6 years sales.
Basic Qualifications – Senior Specialty Representative
- Bachelor’s degree + 3 years sales/clinical (non-sales) in healthcare/scientific field OR Associate degree + 6 years OR High school/GED + 8 years.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years pharma/biotech/medical device sales; product/hospital experience in listed specialties; local market knowledge; established territory relationships; Life Sciences or Business Administration degree; core-competency adaptability.
