Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative – Cardiovascular
Responsibilities:
- Provide current/comprehensive knowledge of Amgen products and communicate clinical benefits to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
- Serve as a sales leader to achieve territory sales via branded sales messages, planned programs, and follow-up on medical educational programs; achieve/exceed sales targets in-person and virtually.
- Develop and manage accounts: tailor discussions to customer needs, ensure product access, resolve/triage reimbursement issues, and maintain product contracts.
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy; analyze sales/territory performance and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
- Share best practices and continuously learn/grow.
- Sustain passion for products throughout the sales cycle, building brand with patient impact front and center.
Basic Qualifications – Specialty Representative:
- Bachelor’s degree OR Associate’s degree + 4 years sales OR High school/GED + 6 years sales.
Basic Qualifications – Senior Specialty Representative:
- Bachelor’s + 3 years sales and/or clinical healthcare/scientific experience (non-sales) OR Associate’s + 6 years sales and/or clinical experience OR High school/GED + 8 years sales and/or clinical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years pharma/biotech/medical device sales; product/hospital sales in relevant specialties; local market knowledge; established territory relationships; BS in Life Sciences or Business Administration; adaptability to core competencies.
Compensation/Benefits:
- Specialty Rep salary range: $89,816–$121,602; Senior: $109,631–$148,325.
