Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative – Cardiovascular

What You Will Do
- Serve as primary customer contact; provide clinical knowledge to medical professionals and help them navigate the payer environment.
- Implement marketing strategy and promote Amgen products as led by the District Manager.

Responsibilities
- Communicate clinical benefits of Amgen products to drive appropriate utilization.
- Drive territory sales by delivering branded messages, executing planned programs, and conducting medical educational program follow-up (in-person and virtual) to meet/exceed sales targets.
- Manage accounts: tailor discussions to customer needs, ensure product access, resolve/triage reimbursement issues, and maintain product contracts.
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy; analyze sales activity/business effectiveness and territory performance; develop territory plans with the District Manager.
- Share best practices and continuously learn/grow.
- Maintain product passion throughout the sales cycle with patient impact in mind.
- Uphold science-based, ethical, quality-focused values and work collaboratively/with accountability.

What We Expect Of You
Basic Qualifications – Specialty Representative
- Bachelor’s degree OR
- Associate’s degree + 4 years sales OR
- High school diploma/GED + 6 years sales

Basic Qualifications – Senior Specialty Representative
- Bachelor’s degree + 3 years sales and/or non-sales clinical experience (healthcare/scientific) OR
- Associate’s degree + 6 years sales and/or non-sales clinical experience (healthcare/scientific) OR
- High school diploma/GED + 8 years sales and/or non-sales clinical experience (healthcare/scientific)

Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years sales in pharma/biotech/medical device; product/hospital sales in relevant specialties (including cardiology); local market knowledge; established territory relationships; Life Sciences/Business degree.
