Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative – Cardiovascular (Territory: Orlando, Altamonte Springs, Longwood, Winter Park, Apopka, FL). Relocation not offered.
What You Will Do
- Provide clinical product knowledge to medical professionals and help them navigate the payer environment.
- Serve as primary customer contact; implement marketing strategy and promote Amgen products (led by District Manager).
Responsibilities
- Communicate clinical benefits to drive appropriate product utilization.
- Drive territory sales by delivering branded messages, running planned programs, and conducting medical education programs (in-person/virtual) to meet/exceed sales targets.
- Manage accounts: tailor interactions to customer needs, ensure product access, resolve/triage reimbursement issues, and maintain product contracts.
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy; analyze sales effectiveness/territory performance; develop territory plans with District Manager.
- Share best practices and learn/grow; build the brand while keeping patient impact central.
Basic Qualifications
- Specialty Rep: Bachelor’s degree OR Associate’s degree + 4 yrs sales OR HS/GED + 6 yrs sales.
- Senior Specialty Rep: Bachelor’s + 3 yrs sales/clinical (healthcare/scientific field, non-sales) OR Associate + 6 yrs OR HS/GED + 8 yrs.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ yrs in pharma/biotech/medical devices (product or hospital sales in specified specialties); local market knowledge; established territory relationships; Life Sciences/Business degree; core competency adaptability.
