What You Will Do
- Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals and help them navigate the payer environment.
- Implement marketing strategy and promote Amgen products as led by the District Manager.

Responsibilities
- Provide current, comprehensive product knowledge and communicate clinical benefits to drive appropriate utilization.
- Lead territory sales by delivering branded messages, running planned programs, scheduling/following up on medical educational programs, and achieving/exceeding sales targets (in-person and virtual).
- Develop relationships to service/manage accounts: tailor discussions to customer needs, ensure product access, resolve/triage reimbursement issues, and maintain product contracts.
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy; analyze sales/business effectiveness and territory performance; develop territory plans with the District Manager.
- Share best practices and continuously learn/grow.
- Demonstrate sustained passion for products throughout the sales cycle, building the brand with patient impact at the forefront.

Basic Qualifications (Specialty Representative)
- Bachelor’s degree OR Associate’s degree + 4 years of Sales OR High school diploma/GED + 6 years of Sales.

Basic Qualifications (Senior Specialty Representative)
- Bachelor’s degree + 3 years of sales and/or clinical experience (healthcare/scientific field not sales related) OR Associate degree + 6 years OR High school/GED + 8 years.

Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years sales in pharma/biotech/medical devices; product/hospital sales in relevant specialties (e.g., oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, inflammation, cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, infectious diseases).
- Local market knowledge; established territory relationships; Life Sciences or Business Administration degree; adaptability with core competencies.
