Responsibilities:
- Provide current, comprehensive product knowledge and communicate clinical benefits to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
- Act as a sales leader to achieve territory sales by delivering branded messages, conducting planned programs, scheduling/following up on medical educational programs, and meeting/exceeding sales targets via in-person and virtual engagement.
- Develop and manage accounts; customize interactions based on customer needs; ensure product access; resolve/triage reimbursement issues; maintain product contracts.
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy; analyze sales activity and territory performance; develop territory plans with the District Manager.
- Share best practices and continuously learn/grow.
- Sustain passion for products throughout the sales cycle, building the brand with patient impact at the forefront.
Basic Qualifications – Specialty Representative:
- Bachelor’s degree OR Associate’s degree + 4 years sales OR High school diploma/GED + 6 years sales.
Basic Qualifications – Senior Specialty Representative:
- Bachelor’s degree + 3 years sales and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field (non-sales) OR Associate degree + 6 years OR High school/GED + 8 years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years sales in pharma/biotech/medical device; product or hospital sales in relevant specialties (e.g., oncology, cardiology, inflammation, etc.); local market knowledge; established territory relationships; Bachelor’s in Life Sciences or Business Administration; core competency adaptability.
