Purpose
- This role is field-based; candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city.
- Execute brand strategy and tactics in the field, maximize short- and long-term sales performance, manage assigned territory and targeted accounts, and build customer relationships while placing patients at the center and operating within company policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities
- Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, and financial targets/marketing objectives to meet or exceed goals.
- Create pre-call plans and conduct post-call evaluations to continuously improve performance; handle objections and secure logical, reasonable calls to action to close each sales call.
- Serve customer needs and expectations to build trusted relationships and achieve win-win agreements.
- Develop and execute call plans to meet call metrics and optimize coverage/frequency for key customers.
- Build and share market intelligence (customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, segments/dynamics, accounts, disease, product, clinical and sales expertise) to align with in-field team/brand team/sales manager and optimize brand strategy.
- Differentiate the value proposition; identify, develop, and maintain disease state experts and speakers/advocates to maximize brand performance.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business preferred; relevant equivalent industry experience required.
- In lieu of a bachelor’s degree: at least 5 years of industry experience with 3+ years in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred; high school diploma/GED required.
- Proven leadership success; solid presentation skills; strong business acumen and use of business tools; strategic/critical thinking.
- Ability to adapt selling approach to customer behavior; effective in a matrix environment.
- Preferred: Sales success in relevant therapeutic areas; experience with physician/account-based selling, training, managed health care, or marketing.
- Preferred: In-depth scientific/therapeutic/product/competitive knowledge; recognized expert resource; English proficiency (for non-English speaking countries).
- Must satisfy HCIR credentialing requirements (may include background checks, drug screens, immunization/vaccination proof, fingerprinting, etc.) to enter facilities/organizations in territory.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements; may require driving personal auto or company vehicle/equipment.
