This role is field-based; candidates should live within a reasonable distance of the primary city. Geography: Issaquah, Bellingham, Olympia, Alaska.
Execute brand strategy and tactics in the field; effectively manage assigned territory and targeted accounts; build customer relationships and customer-need solving capability to maximize short- and long-term sales performance while placing patients at the center and operating within all relevant policies and laws.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives.
- Create SMART pre-call plans; execute post-call evaluations to continuously improve performance; handle objections and consistently gain appropriate calls to action to close.
- Proactively serve customer needs and build trusted relationships; achieve win-win agreements.
- Develop and execute call plans to meet call metrics and optimize coverage/frequency.
- Build understanding of customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, market dynamics, accounts, disease, products, and share intelligence to optimize brand strategy.
- Differentiate value proposition; identify/develop/maintain disease state experts and speakers/advocates to maximize brand performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree (health, sciences, pharmacy, or business) preferred; otherwise 5+ years relevant industry experience with 3+ years in pharma/health/science preferred; high school diploma/GED required.
- Proven sales success and strong presentation skills; adapts selling approach; offers innovative solutions.
- Ability to influence and act as a credible peer role model; collaboration; peer coaching.
- Documented leadership/support success at district/region/org levels.
- Preferred: proven sales success in therapeutic areas; commercial pharma experience (physician/account selling, training, managed care, or marketing); English proficiency (for non-English countries).
- Satisfy all applicable HCIR credentialing requirements to enter facilities; may include background checks, drug screens, immunization proof, fingerprinting, and state/city licenses; must be in good standing/eligible.
- In-depth scientific/therapeutic/product/competitive knowledge; strong business acumen; strategic/critical thinking; works effectively in a matrix.
- Drive personal or company vehicle/equipment; valid driverโs license; pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
