Job Description (Field-based): Execute brand strategy and tactics in the field, manage assigned territory and targeted accounts, build strong customer relationships, solve customer needs, maximize short- and long-term sales performance, and operate in compliance with AbbVie policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives.
- Use SMART pre-call planning and post-call evaluation to improve performance; handle objections and drive logical, reasonable calls to action.
- Proactively serve customer needs and challenges to build trusted relationships and win-win agreements.
- Develop and execute call plans to meet call metrics and optimize coverage/frequency.
- Build knowledge of customer needs, market landscape, competitors, market dynamics, disease, products, clinical/sales expertise; share intelligence with in-field team, brand team, and sales manager.
- Differentiate value proposition; identify, develop, and maintain disease-state experts and speaker/advocates.

Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s in health/sciences/pharmacy/business preferred; or equivalent experience required (โ‰ฅ5 years; โ‰ฅ3 years in pharmaceutical/health/science preferred); high school diploma/GED.
- Proven success in selling; strong presentation skills; adapts selling approach; offers innovative solutions.
- Influences others; credible role model; collaborative partnership; peer coaching.
- Documented leadership/support success; develops sales strategies using insights.
- Preferred: sales success in therapeutic areas; physician/account-based selling, training, managed care, or marketing experience; English proficiency (verbal/written where applicable).
- Satisfy HCIR credentialing requirements to enter facilities (background checks, drug screens, immunization proof, fingerprinting, licenses, etc.).
- In-depth scientific/therapeutic/product/competitive knowledge; strong business acumen; strategic thinking; effective in matrix environment.
- Drive personal/company vehicle or powered equipment; valid driverโ€™s license; pass pre-employment drug screening.
