This role is field-based. Candidates should live within one of the cities of the geography: Nashville, Clarksville, Bowling Green KY.

Responsibilities
- Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives.
- Create pre-call plans using SMART objectives and execute post-call evaluation to continuously improve; handle objections and close every sales call.
- Serve customer needs and challenges to build trusted relationships and win-win agreements.
- Develop and execute a call plan to meet call metrics and optimize coverage/frequency to maximize access and sales opportunities.
- Build understanding of customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, market dynamics, accounts, disease, products, and clinical/sales expertise; share market intelligence to align and optimize brand strategy.
- Differentiate AbbVieโ€™s value with assigned health providers; identify, develop, and maintain disease state experts and speakers/advocates.

Qualifications
- Bachelorโ€™s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business-related field preferred; or equivalent industry experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant industry experience with 3+ years in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred; high school diploma/GED required.
- Strong business acumen; strategic/critical thinking; effective in matrix environments; adapts selling approach to customer behavior.
- Proven sales and presentation success; offers innovative ideas.
- Preferred: sales success in relevant therapeutic areas; physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing experience.
- Preferred: in-depth scientific/therapeutic/product/competitive knowledge.
- Preferred: English proficiency verbally and in writing (non-English speaking countries).
- Must satisfy all applicable HCIR credentialing requirements to enter facilities in assigned territory (may include background checks, drug screens, immunization proof, fingerprinting, and state/city licenses).
