Role Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute independent medical strategies and engagements with external medical stakeholders in a territory; coordinate with Pfizer colleagues to meet Medical objectives.
- Maintain deep knowledge of therapeutic area/disease states and Pfizer medicines; provide accurate, scientifically supported therapeutic area/product information.
- Serve as a conduit for Medical Information and external stakeholder insights; share stakeholder viewpoints with Pfizer as appropriate.
- Develop and execute field tactics aligned to Pfizer Medical Affairs priorities; create/enable medical educational content.
- Deliver scientific communication via presentations, writing, and calls; incorporate health literacy and cultural awareness.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies/procedures; educate stakeholders based on patient care gaps to improve guideline-based care.
- Field Medical: deliver approved content; seek scientific engagement; respond to unsolicited medical requests per Pfizer guidance.
- Lead advisory boards (with oversight); handle inbound queries via triage.
- Support clinical trial site identification; support ISR; interpret and communicate study design/data concepts.
- Provide medical resource support, asset leadership, committee participation, professional association representation, and mentorship.
Basic Qualifications:
- MD or DO.
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Recognized subject matter expert; strong oral/written and interpersonal skills; ability to influence, lead change, prioritize in remote environment, and work in matrix teams.
- Manage multiple stakeholder demands, resolve conflict, adopt digital tools, and record interactions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with relevant SOPs/rules/regulations.
- Previous Field Medical experience.
Travel/Environment:
- Travel 40β50%; operate company car; valid US driverβs license; must reside in TX or NM (territory: Texas and New Mexico).
Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- Base salary: $230,900β$384,800; bonus target 25% (Global Performance Plan); 401(k) match and additional retirement contribution; paid time off and health benefits.
