About the Role
The Dermatology sales force drives demand after potential regulatory approval by educating healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimizing business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts specializing in Dermatology. The Specialty Business Manager (SBM) develops and applies business processes that benefit patients and achieve sales goals.

How you will contribute
- Support account onboarding through education
- Conduct clinical selling and deliver the clinical value proposition across an educational continuum
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities (e.g., peer-to-peer)
- Perform account management in Dermatology practices, clinics/outlets, and independent physician offices
- Achieve sales goals/territory metrics and execute brand strategy/tactics within assigned segments
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials
- Execute local marketing strategies and cultivate local engagement with decision makers
- Present complex clinical and business information to relevant audiences
- Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states, treatments, and business environment
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, etc.)
- Uphold patient-first values and comply with relevant policies/training

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
Required:
- BA/BS
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience, OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda
- Dermatology experience/calling on Dermatologists (highly preferred)
- Business/strategic planning; managed care understanding
- Strong communication, presentation, influencing, and writing skills
- Collaboration/team success
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to healthcare professionals
- Dermatology calling experience
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues

Licenses/Certifications & Travel
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to drive/fly to accounts; occasional overnight travel (up to 25–50%)

Training Requirements
- Continued employment contingent on passing mandatory product training (written/oral exams)

Compensation and Benefits (location-specific)
- Minnesota – Virtual; U.S. hourly wage range: $63.51–$87.31
