About the Role:
The Dermatology sales force drives demand following potential regulatory approval through education. Responsibilities include educating healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimizing business opportunities in targeted physician offices, clinics, and hospital accounts specializing in Dermatology. The Specialty Business Manager (SBM) applies business processes that benefit patients and achieve sales goals.

How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Engage in clinical selling and advance customers across an educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities (e.g., peer-to-peer) for HCPs.
- Conduct account management in Dermatology practices, clinics, and independent physician offices.
- Attain territory sales goals and key metrics; execute brand strategy and tactics within the customer segment.
- Build relationships with decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies to build customer engagement and educate key local decision makers.
- Present complex clinical/business information to Dermatologists and relevant professional groups.
- Develop and implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs).
- Adhere to compliance policies, guidelines, and training.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Required:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; or 2+ years at Takeda.
- Dermatology/Dermatologist calling experience highly preferred.
- Business/strategic planning skills; adaptability to market changes.
- Understanding of managed care landscape.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication.
- Strong collaboration/team success.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to healthcare professionals.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists.
- Experience managing complex reimbursement issues.

Training Requirements:
- Employment contingent on passing mandatory product training (written/oral).
- Valid Driver’s License.

Travel Requirements:
- Drive and/or fly to accounts and occasional meetings; up to 25–50% overnight travel.
