About the Role:
The Dermatology sales force drives demand following potential regulatory approval through education. The Specialty Business Manager (SBM) educates healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimizes business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts in Dermatology, achieving sales goals via effective business processes.

How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Perform clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers along a brand educational continuum.
- Provide initial clinical and patient access education; coordinate peer-to-peer and other HCP education programs.
- Conduct account management in dermatology practices, clinics, outlets, and independent physician offices.
- Meet territory sales goals and key metrics; execute franchise/company brand strategy within the assigned segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies; build customer engagement by cultivating relationships and educating local decision makers.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists and relevant professional/patient groups.
- Develop and implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease/treatment and business changes.
- Strategically manage allocated resources.
- Follow compliance policies, guidelines, and training; seek clarification when uncertain.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Required:
- BA/BS; 3+ years successful selling experience (pharma/biotech/medical device) or 2+ years at Takeda.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists (highly preferred).
- Business/strategic planning; adaptability to market changes.
- Understanding of managed care.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs; experience calling on Dermatologists.
- Experience managing complex reimbursement issues.

Training Requirements:
- Must pass mandatory product training (written and oral exams). During training, may be classified non-exempt and eligible for overtime; after passage, transition to exempt.

Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License.

Travel Requirements:
- Drive/fly to accounts; occasional business meetings; overnight travel up to 25–50%.

Compensation and Benefits (for location: Missouri - Virtual):
- U.S. hourly wage range: $63.51–$87.31. Potential short-term incentives and possible benefits (medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, holidays, well-being; up to 80 hours sick time; up to 120 hours paid vacation for new hires).
