About the Role
The Dermatology Specialty Business Manager (SBM) drives demand through education after potential regulatory approval. Responsibilities include educating healthcare providers (HCPs), optimizing business opportunities in targeted dermatology physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts, and achieving sales goals.

How you will contribute
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Engage in clinical selling: deliver clinical value, advance customers across an educational continuum.
- Support clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Manage accounts in dermatology practices/clinics/hospital outlets and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals and territory metrics; execute brand/franchise strategy within the customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials.
- Execute local marketing strategies to build customer engagement.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists and relevant groups.
- Develop and implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease/treatment and business changes.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs).
- Follow compliance policies and training; seek clarification when uncertain.

Minimum Qualifications
Required:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical devices and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology experience calling dermatologists highly preferred.
- Strategic business planning; understanding of managed care.
- Strong communication, influencing, presentation, and writing skills.
- Collaboration/team success.
- Live within or close to assigned geography.

Preferred
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs in pharma/biotech/device/healthcare.
- Experience calling on dermatologists.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.

Training/Licenses/Travel
- Pass mandatory product training (written/oral exams). Training may be non-exempt with overtime eligibility during training.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to drive/fly; occasional overnight travel up to 25–50%.

Compensation and Benefits (if applicable)
- Hourly wage range (Sarasota, FL): $63.51–$87.31.
