About the Role
- Drive demand following potential regulatory approval by educating healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimizing business in targeted dermatology physician offices, clinics, and hospital accounts.
How you will contribute
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Perform clinical selling and deliver the clinical value proposition; advance customers through an educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff; coordinate peer-to-peer and other HCP education programs.
- Manage Dermatology accounts (practices, clinics/outlets, independent physician offices).
- Attain sales goals/territory metrics; execute brand strategy/tactics for assigned customer segments.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Present targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information, approved materials, and discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies to grow engagement; present complex clinical/business information to relevant audiences.
- Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease/treatments.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, etc.).
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; or 2+ years successful selling at Takeda.
- Dermatology/Dermatologist calling experience highly preferred.
- Business/strategic planning, managed care understanding, strong communication and collaboration.
- Reside within or close to assigned geography.
Preferred
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists; complex reimbursement experience.
Other requirements
- Valid driverβs license.
- Travel: drive/fly to accounts; 25β50% overnight travel may be required.
- Pass mandatory product training (written/oral exams).
