About the Role:
- The Dermatology Specialty Business Manager (SBM) drives demand after potential regulatory approval for the assigned product through education, educating healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimizing business opportunities in targeted dermatology-focused physician offices, clinics, and hospital accounts. Develop and apply business processes to benefit patients and achieve sales goals and objectives.

How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Provide initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities/programs for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer education).
- Manage accounts within dermatology practices/clinics/outlets and independent physician offices.
- Achieve territory sales goals and key metrics; execute brand strategy/tactics within the assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective use of products.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messaging using accurate clinical information, approved materials, and medical reprints.
- Execute local marketing strategies and build customer engagement.
- Present complex clinical/business information to office and institutional audiences.
- Develop/implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states/treatments.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs).
- Adhere to all compliance policies/guidelines/training.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Required:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device (or relevant clinical/industry) selling experience; OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists/Dermatology.
- Business/strategic planning skills; ability to adapt to market changes.
- Understanding of managed care.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Strong collaboration/team success.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.

Training Requirements:
- Must pass mandatory product training (written/oral exams); initially non-exempt with overtime eligibility during training.

Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License.

Travel Requirements:
- Drive and/or fly to accounts; occasional business meetings; overnight travel up to 25–50%.
