Responsibilities
- Drive demand through education after potential regulatory approval for the assigned product.
- Educate healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimize business in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts specializing in Dermatology.
- Support account onboarding via education; deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff; coordinate peer-to-peer and other clinical education programs.
- Conduct account management in dermatology practices, clinics, independent physician offices, and related outlets.
- Achieve sales goals and objectives by delivering product volume and key territory metrics; execute franchise/company brand strategy and tactics.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe and effective use of company products.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials and accurate clinical information.
- Execute local marketing strategies, build customer engagement, and manage allocated resources (financial/budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office, etc.).
- Present complex clinical/business information and implement medical education and sponsorship programs.
- Adhere to compliance policies, guidelines, and training.
Minimum Qualifications
Required: Bachelorβs (BA/BS); 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling (or 2+ years at Takeda); strong communication and collaboration; managed care understanding; strategic planning; reside near assigned geography.
Preferred: 5+ years direct selling; Dermatology/Dermatologist calling; experience managing complex reimbursement issues.
Training/Certifications/Travel
- Must pass mandatory product training (written/oral exams).
- Valid driverβs license.
- Drive/fly to accounts; occasional overnight travel (25β50%).
