About the Role:
Dermatology Specialty Business Manager (SBM) driving demand (post-potential regulatory approval) by educating healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimizing business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts.

Responsibilities:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate/execute clinical education opportunities (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Perform account management in Dermatology practices, clinics, outlets, and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals and key territory metrics; execute brand strategy/tactics within assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with decision makers/support staff to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials/reprints.
- Execute local marketing strategies and build customer engagement by identifying/cultivating relationships.
- Present complex clinical/business information to Dermatologists and other stakeholder groups.
- Develop and implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states/treatments/market changes.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, etc.).
- Follow compliance policies/guidelines and uphold patient-first values.

Minimum Requirements:
- BS/BA.
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years successful selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology/Dermatologists calling experience highly preferred.
- Business/strategic planning skills; adaptability.
- Managed care landscape understanding.
- Strong communication, influencing, presentation, and writing skills.
- Collaboration/team success.
- Reside within or near assigned geography.

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs.
- Dermatologists calling experience.
- Experience with complex reimbursement issues.

Training Requirements:
- Completion of mandatory product training with written/oral exams; may include non-exempt status/overtime during training only.

Licenses/Travel:
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to drive/fly to accounts; up to 25–50% overnight travel.

Compensation/Benefits (if applicable):
- Rhode Island (Virtual) hourly wage range: $63.51–$87.31.
