Specialty Business Manager, Dermatology

How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition; advance customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate and support clinical education opportunities (e.g., peer-to-peer education) for HCPs.
- Perform account management within dermatology practices, clinics, outlets, and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals/objectives in the assigned territory, delivering product volume and key metrics; execute franchise/company brand strategy within the customer segment.
- Build professional relationships with HCP decision makers, support staff, and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials (including reprints); discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies and build customer engagement by identifying/cultivating relationships and educating decision makers.
- Present complex clinical and business information to dermatologists and other stakeholders.
- Develop and implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states, treatments, and the business environment.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (financial/budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office, etc.).

Minimum requirements/qualifications:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling (or relevant clinical/industry experience) OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology experience (calling on Dermatologists) highly preferred.
- Business/strategic planning; understanding of managed care.
- Strong communication, presentation, influence, and writing skills.
- Strong collaboration skills.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling experience to healthcare professionals (pharma/biotech/device/healthcare) or relevant experience.
- Experience with managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.

Licenses/Certifications & Travel:
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to drive/fly; occasional overnight travel (25–50%).
