About the Role
The Dermatology Specialty Business Manager (SBM) drives demand following potential regulatory approval through education. Educates healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimizes business opportunities in dermatology-focused physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts. Develops and applies business processes that benefit patients and achieve sales goals.

How you will contribute
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education programs (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Manage accounts in dermatology practices, clinics/outlets, and independent physician offices.
- Attain territory sales goals/metrics; execute brand strategy within assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials and provide therapeutic strategy discussions.
- Execute local marketing strategies; build customer engagement through relationship development and local education.
- Present complex clinical and business information to dermatologists and healthcare/professional groups.
- Develop and implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease/treatments.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, etc.).

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
- BA/BS.
- Required: 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling (or relevant clinical/industry experience) OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology/Dermatologist calling experience highly preferred.
- Strategic planning and managed care understanding.
- Strong communication, influencing, presentation, and writing.
- Collaboration/team success.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.

Preferred
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs.
- Experience calling on dermatologists.
- Experience managing complex reimbursement issues.

Training/Licenses/Travel
- Mandatory product training with written/oral exams.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to drive/fly; some overnight travel (up to 25–50%).
