Responsibilities:
- Drive demand post-regulatory approval through education of healthcare providers (HCPs).
- Support account onboarding and initial clinical/patient access education.
- Conduct clinical selling and deliver clinical value proposition; advance customers along a brand educational continuum.
- Coordinate peer-to-peer and other clinical education programs for HCPs.
- Perform account management in dermatology practices, clinics, hospital accounts, and independent physician offices.
- Meet territory sales goals/metrics by executing brand strategy and tactics.
- Build relationships with HCP decision-makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies to build customer engagement; manage allocated resources.
- Present complex clinical/business information and patient support services.
- Develop and implement medical education opportunities/sponsor programs; stay current on disease/treatment and business environment.
- Follow compliance policies/training; uphold patient-first values and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Required:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device (or relevant clinical/industry experience) OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Strong business/strategic planning; understands managed care impact.
- Strong communication and presentation; collaboration.
- Reside within/near assigned geography.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists/Dermatology (highly preferred).
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs; experience calling on Dermatologists.
- Experience managing complex reimbursement issues.
Licenses/Travel:
- Valid driver’s license; drive/fly as needed; overnight travel up to 25–50%.
Training:
- Pass mandatory product training (written/oral). Temporary non-exempt status during training; transition to exempt after successful completion.
Compensation/Benefits (Massachusetts–Virtual):
- U.S. hourly wage range: $63.51–$87.31. Potential eligibility for short-term incentives; may include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, PTO/holidays, sick time, and paid vacation.
