Specialty Business Manager, Dermatology

How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Execute clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers along a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate/support clinical education (e.g., peer-to-peer) for HCPs.
- Conduct account management in dermatology practices/clinics/hospitals and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals/territory metrics (product volume and other KPIs) and apply brand strategy/tactics within the assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop/deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategy and build customer engagement.
- Present complex clinical/business information on products and patient support services.
- Develop/implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; stay current on disease/treatments/business changes.
- Manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office, etc.).
- Comply with company policies/training and seek clarification on compliance matters.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Required:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Business/strategic planning skills; adaptability.
- Understanding of managed care landscape.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication.
- Strong collaboration/team skills.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists.
- Experience with complex reimbursement issues.

Training Requirements:
- Must pass mandatory product training (written/oral exams). Training period: non-exempt/overtime eligible; no sales incentives/production bonuses.

Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License.

Travel:
- Drive/fly to accounts; occasional business meetings; overnight travel up to 25–50%.

Compensation & Benefits (summary):
- South Carolina (Virtual) U.S. hourly wage range: $63.51–$87.31.
- Potential eligibility for short-term incentives and benefits (medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, disability, life, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, company holidays, well-being), plus up to 80 hours sick time and up to 120 hours paid vacation for new hires.
