Specialty Business Manager, Dermatology

About the Role
- Drive demand following potential regulatory approval through education.
- Educate healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimize business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts specializing in Dermatology.
- Develop and apply business processes that benefit patients and lead to achievement of sales goals and objectives.

How you will contribute
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate/sponsor clinical education opportunities for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Manage accounts in dermatology practices, clinics, outlets, and independent physician offices.
- Attain sales goals via product volume and key territory metrics; execute franchise/company brand strategy in the assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials.
- Execute local marketing strategies and build customer engagement.
- Present complex clinical and business information to relevant audiences.
- Develop and implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (financial/budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, etc.).

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s (BA/BS); 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience, OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Demonstrated business/strategic planning; understanding of managed care landscape.
- Strong communication, influencing, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Reside within or close to assigned geography.

Preferred
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs; Dermatologist calling experience; experience managing complex reimbursement issues.

Licenses/Certifications
- Valid Driver’s License.

Travel Requirements
- Drive/fly to accounts; occasional overnight travel (up to 25–50%).
