About the Role:
The Dermatology sales force drives demand after potential regulatory approval through education. Specialty Business Manager (SBM) educates healthcare providers and optimizes opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts. Develop and apply business processes that benefit patients and achieve sales goals.

How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Perform clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers along a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities/programs (e.g., peer-to-peer education) for HCPs.
- Conduct account management in dermatology practices/clinics/outlets and independent physician offices.
- Achieve territory sales goals/metrics and execute brand strategy and tactics in assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers/support staff to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies, build customer engagement, and cultivate relationships with local decision makers.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists and relevant groups.
- Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease/treatments and business environment.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (financial/budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office, etc.).
- Adhere to compliance policies and seek clarification on compliance matters.

Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device (or relevant clinical/industry experience); or 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology/Dermatologist calling experience (highly preferred).
- Strategic business planning; ability to adapt to market changes.
- Understanding of managed care.
- Strong communication, influencing, presentation, and writing skills.
- Strong collaboration.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to healthcare professionals.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.

Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License.

Travel Requirements:
- Drive/fly to accounts; occasional business meetings; overnight travel up to 25–50%.

Training Requirements:
- Must pass mandatory product training (written/oral). During training: non-exempt, overtime eligible (no sales incentives/bonuses). After passing: transition to exempt status.

Compensation/Benefits (if applicable to this location):
- U.S. Hourly Wage Range: $63.51–$87.31; may include eligibility for short-term incentives and benefits such as medical/dental/vision, 401(k), disability/life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, holidays, well-being benefits, sick time, and vacation.
