Responsibilities:
- Drive demand through education following potential regulatory approval.
- Educate HCPs and optimize business opportunities in targeted dermatology physician offices, clinics, and hospital accounts.
- Support account onboarding through education; support initial clinical and patient access education.
- Conduct clinical selling (deliver clinical value proposition; advance customers across a brand educational continuum).
- Coordinate and support HCP clinical education opportunities (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Manage accounts within dermatology practices, clinics, independent physician offices; attain sales goals and territory metrics.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies; build customer engagement through local relationship-building and education.
- Present complex clinical and business information to dermatologists and other stakeholder groups.
- Develop/implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states, treatments, and market environment.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., financial/budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, home office).
- Adhere to compliance policies and seek clarification when uncertain.
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years successful selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology experience (calling on dermatologists) preferred.
- Business/strategic planning, managed care understanding, strong communication, collaboration, and reside near assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs; experience calling on dermatologists; experience with complex reimbursement issues.
Training Requirements:
- Mandatory product training with written/oral exams; temporary non-exempt status and overtime eligibility during training only.
