About the Role: Dermatology Specialty Business Manager drives demand through education after potential regulatory approval. Educates HCPs and optimizes business opportunities in targeted dermatology physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts.
How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Perform clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers along an educational continuum.
- Support clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate HCP clinical education (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Manage accounts within dermatology practices, clinics/outlets, and independent physician offices.
- Achieve territory sales goals/metrics and execute brand strategy tactically.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials/reprints; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies and build customer engagement.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists and relevant groups.
- Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease/treatment trends.
- Manage allocated resources (budget, managed markets, medical affairs, etc.).
- Follow compliance policies and uphold patient-first values.
Minimum Requirements (Required):
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful pharma/biotech/medical device selling (or 2+ years at Takeda).
- Dermatology/Dermatologist calling experience.
- Strategic planning; understanding of managed care.
- Strong communication, influencing, presentation, and writing.
- Collaboration; reside within/close to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs.
- Experience calling on dermatologists.
- Experience managing complex reimbursement issues.
License/Travel:
- Valid driverβs license.
- Ability to drive/fly; up to 25β50% overnight travel.
Compensation/Benefits (explicitly stated): Hourly wage range $63.51β$87.31; may be eligible for short-term incentives and benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, holidays, and well-being benefits, plus up to 80 hours sick time and up to 120 hours paid vacation for new hires.
