Responsibilities:
- Drive demand post-regulatory approval through education of healthcare providers (HCPs) in Dermatology.
- Support account onboarding and initial clinical/patient access education.
- Conduct clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers through a brand educational continuum.
- Coordinate clinical education programs (e.g., peer-to-peer), and manage accounts in Dermatology practices/clinics/hospitals/outlets and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals and territory metrics; execute brand/franchise strategy within assigned customer segments.
- Build relationships with HCP decision-makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies; grow customer engagement via local education and relationship-building.
- Present complex clinical/business information; develop and sponsor medical education opportunities.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs).
- Adhere to compliance policies and seek clarification when uncertain.
Qualifications:
Required:
- BA/BS degree.
- 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling (or 2+ years at Takeda).
- Dermatologist/Dermatology calling experience (highly preferred).
- Business/strategic planning, managed care understanding, strong communication, collaboration.
- Live within or near assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs.
- Dermatologist calling experience; complex reimbursement experience.
Training note:
- Employment contingent on passing mandatory product training (written/oral exams).
