Role Overview
- Drive demand for assigned dermatology product through education following potential regulatory approval.
- Educate healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimize opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts.
- Develop/apply business processes to benefit patients and achieve sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Support account onboarding via education.
- Conduct clinical selling and deliver clinical value proposition across an educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient-access education; coordinate peer-to-peer and other HCP education programs.
- Perform account management in dermatology practices/clinics and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals and key territory metrics; execute franchise/company brand strategy.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers/support staff to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messaging using approved materials and discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies; build customer engagement by educating key decision makers.
- Present complex clinical/business information on products and patient support services.
- Develop and implement medical education opportunities/sponsor programs; stay current on disease/treatment and business changes.
- Manage allocated resources; adhere to compliance policies and training.
Minimum Requirements (Required)
- BA/BS.
- 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling (or relevant clinical/industry experience), OR 2+ years selling at Takeda.
- Dermatologist calling experience (highly preferred).
- Strategic business planning; understanding of managed care.
- Strong communication, influencing/presentation, writing; collaboration; reside within/near assigned geography.

- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs.
- Dermatologist calling experience.
- Experience communicating complex reimbursement issues.
