About the Role:
The Dermatology sales force drives demand following potential regulatory approval through education. Educates healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimizes business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts specializing in Dermatology. Specialty Business Manager (SBM) develops and applies business processes that benefit patients and achieve sales goals.

How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Perform clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition; advance customers across a brand educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities (e.g., peer-to-peer education) for HCPs.
- Conduct account management in Dermatology practices/clinics/outlets and independent physician offices.
- Attain territory sales goals and key metrics; execute brand strategy/tactics in assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers/support staff/stakeholders to support safe and effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials and medical reprints; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies; build customer engagement and educate key local decision makers.
- Present complex clinical/business information to Dermatologists and relevant professional/patient groups.
- Develop and implement medical education/sponsorship programs; stay current on disease states, treatments, and environment.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, etc.).
- Follow compliance policies/training; seek clarification when uncertain.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS).
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device (and/or relevant clinical/industry experience); OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists (highly preferred).
- Business/strategic planning; adaptability.
- Understanding of managed care landscape.
- Strong verbal/influencing/presentation and written communication.
- Strong collaboration/team success.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to healthcare professionals (and/or relevant clinical/industry experience).
- Experience calling on Dermatologists (highly preferred).
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.

Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License.

Travel Requirements:
- Ability to drive/fly to accounts and meetings.
- Some overnight travel up to 25–50%.

Training Requirements:
- Contingent on passing mandatory product training (written/oral exams).
