About the Role:
Dermatology Specialty Business Manager (SBM) drives demand post-regulatory approval through education, educating HCPs, and optimizing business in targeted dermatology physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts.

How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Perform clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across an educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education opportunities (e.g., peer-to-peer for HCPs).
- Conduct account management in dermatology practices/clinics/outlets and independent physician offices.
- Achieve sales goals and territory metrics; execute franchise/company strategy and tactics.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials and reprints; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies; build customer engagement via relationships and education.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists and other decision-making audiences.
- Develop and implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease/treatment and market changes.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, etc.).
- Follow compliance policies, guidelines, and training; seek clarification when unsure.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Required:
- BS/BA
- 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years successful selling experience at Takeda
- Dermatology/Dermatologist calling experience (highly preferred)
- Business/strategic planning, managed care understanding
- Strong communication, influencing, presentation, and written skills
- Strong teamwork/collaboration
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct HC Professional selling experience
- Dermatologist calling experience
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues

Training Requirements:
- Must pass mandatory product training (written/oral exams). External hires are non-exempt during training and eligible for overtime during that period; no sales incentives/bonuses during training. After passing exams, transition to exempt status.

Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License

Travel Requirements:
- Drive/fly to accounts and occasional business meetings; overnight travel up to 25–50%.

Compensation and Benefits (as stated):
