Responsibilities:
- Drive demand post regulatory approval through education; educate HCPs.
- Optimize business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts specializing in Dermatology.
- Support account onboarding and initial clinical/patient access education for medical staff.
- Coordinate clinical education programs for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Conduct account management in dermatology practices, clinics, independent offices, and related outlets.
- Meet sales goals and territory metrics; execute brand/franchise strategy.
- Build relationships with HCP decision-makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical info and approved materials.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists and healthcare groups.
- Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states, treatments, and market changes.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, etc.).
- Follow compliance policies/training; seek clarification when uncertain.

Minimum Requirements (Required):
- BS/BA.
- 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years successful selling experience at Takeda.
- Dermatology experience calling on Dermatologists (highly preferred).
- Business/strategic planning skills; adaptability.
- Understanding of managed care landscape.
- Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication.
- Strong collaboration/team skills.
- Live within or close to assigned geography.

Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs.
- Experience calling on Dermatologists.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.

Licenses/Travel:
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to drive/fly to accounts; occasional overnight travel (25–50%).

Training Requirement:
- Pass mandatory product training (written/oral). During training: non-exempt status and eligible for overtime only during training; not eligible for sales incentives/bonuses. After passing: transition to exempt status.
