About the Role:
- Drive demand (post potential regulatory approval) for assigned dermatology product through education; educate HCPs and optimize opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts. Specialty Business Manager (SBM) delivers patient-first business processes to achieve sales goals.
How you will contribute:
- Support account onboarding through education.
- Perform clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across an educational continuum.
- Support initial clinical/patient access education for medical staff; coordinate clinical education (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Conduct account management in dermatology practices/clinics/hospital outlets and independent physician offices.
- Meet sales goals and territory metrics; execute brand strategy/tactics within assigned customer segment.
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using accurate clinical information and approved materials.
- Execute local marketing strategies; expand customer engagement by educating local decision makers.
- Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists and healthcare/professional groups.
- Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease/treatments/market changes.
- Manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, etc.); adhere to compliance policies.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Required: BA/BS; 3+ years successful pharma/biotech/med device selling (or 2+ years at Takeda). Dermatology/Dermatologists experience highly preferred. Business/strategic planning; managed care understanding; strong communication and presentation; collaboration; live within/close to assigned geography.
- Preferred: 5+ years direct selling to HCPs; calling on Dermatologists; experience managing complex reimbursement issues.
Training/Licenses/Travel:
- Mandatory product training with written/oral exams; during training may be non-exempt/eligible for overtime; transition to exempt after.
- Valid Driverβs License.
- Travel: drive/fly as needed; overnight travel up to 25β50%.
Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- Georgia (Virtual): hourly wage range $63.51β$87.31; may be eligible for incentives and benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, disability/life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and sick/vacation hours.
