Specialty Account Specialist (Respiratory) Seattle, Washington

Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with specialist customers (pulmonologists, allergists, nurse specialists, practice managers).
- Deliver clear, evidence-based clinical education and support to specialist teams.
- Identify reimbursement and distribution needs and connect customers with appropriate support resources.
- Develop tailored account plans and tactics to drive patient access and service.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (market access, medical affairs, marketing).
- Adhere to compliance and ethical guidelines in all customer interactions.
Basic Qualifications (Required):
- Bachelorβs degree from an accredited institution.
- Experience engaging specialty healthcare providers in respiratory or related therapeutic areas.
- Ability to travel domestically, including occasional overnight travel up to 30%.
- Valid driverβs license and willingness to drive as required.
- Level based on experience:
- Specialty Account Specialist (grade 8): 5+ years pharmaceutical/medical device sales.
- Senior Specialty Account Specialist (grade 7): 12+ years pharmaceutical/medical device sales.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with specialty products via Buy & Bill or specialty pharmacy distribution channels.
- Experience with payer reimbursement/market access teams.
- Background in biologic/rare disease/immunology or respiratory/pulmonology specialty sales.
- Experience selling into IDNs or hospital systems; infusion and specialty pharmacy experience.
- Proven account-planning ability and measurable outcomes; comfort in primarily remote role.
Work Arrangement/Location:
- Field-based role covering Seattle, Renton to Bellingham, Washington; ideal candidate resides in Seattle. Relocation assistance not provided. Driving essential.
Compensation/Benefits:
- US base salary range: $138,000β$230,000; annual bonus; eligibility for share-based long-term incentive. Benefits include health/insurance, retirement, paid holidays, vacation, and paid caregiver/parental and medical leave.
