Account Manager/Specialty Account Manager – TEPEZZA (Territory: Greater San Antonio, Corpus Christi and the Rio Grande Valley)
Responsibilities
- Represent TEPEZZA to physicians and healthcare professionals; establish product sales and manage total territory accounts.
- Create/execute a territory business plan to achieve/exceed annual sales goals.
- Promote TEPEZZA per approved labeling; drive product demand through disease-state and product education.
- Manage access, pull-through, and reimbursement by coordinating with key stakeholders/matrix teams.
- Build customer relationships; communicate customer needs and territory activity to management.
- Provide feedback to leadership and internal departments on results and changing environment.
- Coordinate across accounts and Amgen field teams; educate HCPs and office staff on site-of-care options.
- Attend medical congresses/society meetings as needed.
- Manage promotional/operational budgets, maximize use of approved resources, complete training, and complete administrative duties; contribute to a high-performance team; perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications
- Account Manager (Level 4): Bachelor’s + 3 years sales (pharma/biotech/medical device or hospital sales) OR Associate + 6 years OR HS/GED + 8 years.
- Specialty Account Manager (Level 5): Doctorate + 2 years account management/sales/commercial OR Master’s + 6 years OR Bachelor’s + 8 years OR Associate + 10 years.
Preferred Skills
- Buy-and-bill/biologic-infusion experience; Endocrinology/Ophthalmology/rare-specialty experience.
- Site-of-care & reimbursement; institutions/IDNs; pharma account management; ~80% travel; Microsoft Office; strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication.
Benefits (as stated)
- Base salary range (U.S.): Account Manager $154,736–$183,900; Specialty Account Manager $160,397–$190,628.
