Account Manager/Specialty Account Manager – TEPEZZA
Responsibilities
- Represent TEPEZZA to physicians/healthcare professionals; establish product sales and perform total territory account management.
- Create territory business plans to achieve/exceed annual sales goals.
- Promote TEPEZZA within approved labeling and comply with legal/regulatory guidelines (including PhRMA code).
- Address access, pull-through, and reimbursement by coordinating with key stakeholders/matrix teams.
- Build customer relationships; communicate customer needs/goals to internal teams.
- Meet/exceed corporate sales goals; report territory activity accurately and timely.
- Drive product demand via education on disease state and product information.
- Provide feedback on results/environment to leadership and internal departments.
- Work with patient services and market access teams; coordinate between accounts and field teams to support account needs.
- Educate HCPs and office staff on site-of-care options; attend medical congresses/society meetings as needed.
- Manage promotional/operational budget; maximize use of approved resources; complete training; complete administrative duties; support a high-performance team; perform other assigned tasks.
Qualifications
Basic (Account Manager – Level 4): Bachelor’s +3 yrs sales; or Associate +6 yrs; or HS/GED +8 yrs (pharma/biotech/medical device or hospital sales).
Basic (Specialty Account Manager – Level 5): Doctorate +2 yrs collective account mgmt/sales/commercial; or Master’s +6 yrs; or Bachelor’s +8 yrs; or Associate +10 yrs.
Preferred: Buy-and-bill/biologic/infusion; Endocrinology/Ophthalmology/rare/specialty; site-of-care and reimbursement; institutions/IDNs; pharma account management across field teams; ~80% travel; Microsoft Office; strong communication/interpersonal.
